When buyers hear "green building", most imagine a rooftop garden and a higher price tag. The reality is more practical: a well-designed green building is cheaper to run every single month, and the savings belong to the residents.
Take common-area electricity. Lifts, pumps, stair lights and lobby cooling typically make up the largest share of a building's service charge. Solar-assisted systems and daylight-first lobby design can cut that load significantly - which is why every current KinOn project includes both.
Cross-ventilation does the same job inside your apartment. A flat that breathes needs the air conditioner for fewer hours a day, and in Dhaka's climate those hours add up to real money every year. Rainwater harvesting reduces WASA dependence for gardening and washing. None of this is decoration; it is arithmetic. "Sustaining Tomorrow" is our tagline, but it is also, quite literally, a lower bill.
